The Link App is now free to all professions

"As businesses relocate and adapt to homeworking, organisations will need communication streams to be open - more than ever. We hope this can help."
Lauren Riley

In light of COVID-19 and its impact on the world of work, The Link App founder and CEO Lauren Riley has announced that the company is offering its product for free during the crisis.

The Link App provides a secure and confidential communication tool, across all devices: home computers, laptops, ipads, iphones and Androids. It was originally set up for law firms but Lauren is now offering it to all professions. The Link App provides a secure and confidential communication tool, across all devices: home computers, laptops, ipads, iphones and Androids. It was originally set up for law firms but Lauren is now offering it to all professions.

Says Lauren: "We recognise that these are difficult times. As businesses relocate and adapt to homeworking, organisations will need communication streams to be open - more than ever. Client reassurance and retention will be a priority.

As homeworking is enforced, it will become so much more important for teams to stay connected. To reassure their clients, to continue to provide a professional service. Our easy-to-use platform delivers that, enabling all users to instantly message clients, share documents with them and arrange call backs, giving clients benefit from regular, accessible case updates, push notifications and secure document storage.

"But it’s more than that - The Link App also now enables internal communication. We’ve adapted our platform to allow all employees within a firm to use the one channel, either for one to one or group chats. We have anticipated some of the other issues professions will experience suddenly being asked to isolate and work from home. It is vital for professional and mental wellbeing to keep connected."

Lauren set up The Link App in 2014. A qualified solicitor, she had grown frustrated with the slow pace of the legal industry and recognised that clients were looking for faster responses, more clarity on case progress and an overall better customer service experience. In response, she created The Link App - a downloadable case tracking and management interface that helps lawyers keep in touch with their clients to completely reinvent the transactional experience, enabling instant messaging, document sharing, case updates, push notifications and secure document storage.

She concludes: "The Link App works across all devices and this is key. Teams can interact with each other and their clients with ease. We appreciate this may be a difficult time for many and we hope this can help.”
