Steamhaus has doubled its workforce in the last six months following a 400% rise in turnover year-on-year. A host of new clients has seen the cloud and DevOps consultancy increase headcount to 12, with plans to take on further technical and sales staff over the next twelve months, and expand its existing office space in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Steamhaus provides cloud management and implementation for a range of public, private and charity sector organisations across healthcare, ecommerce and more. Some of its most recent clients includes cloud-based phone software CircleLoop, employee engagement business Perkbox and technology company Immerse.
"In the two years since we launched, the plan for growth has always been slow and steady. But a flurry of new clients has meant we've really had to fast-track our growth ambitions. "
Steamhaus recently received a £175k loan from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund to bolster growth during its rapid recruitment drive.
Daniel Keighron-Foster, managing director at Steamhaus said: ‘‘In the two years since we launched, the plan for growth has always been slow and steady. But a flurry of new clients over the last six months has meant we’ve really had to fast-track our growth ambitions. We’re now looking forward to entering 2018 with an enhanced team and a diverse and impressive client list.’’
