Engineering company Statiflo has expanded its presence in the Far East with the appointment of two new business partners.
Statiflo has added Tecquip Co, based in Vietnam, and Integrated Quality Services Co, based in Thailand, to its growing network.
Over the past 18 months, the company has appointed business partners in the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, Hong Kong and mainland China.
The latest additions mean Statiflo now has representation in 11 Far East countries.
Statiflo’s business partners distribute the company’s products and provide advice and support to customers in key markets across a variety of industries.
The company, which has its headquarters in Macclesfield, Cheshire, and subsidiaries in the US and Germany, is a world leader in the design and distribution of static mixers and other process equipment.
It supplies the water and wastewater treatment industries and the oil and gas, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper sectors.
Managing director Gareth Fry, pictured, said: “The Far East is a fast-growing market for Statiflo, with orders from the region up by over 40 per cent so far this financial year.
“We are delighted to welcome Tecquip Co, which is based in Ho Chi Minh City, and IQS, which operates from offices in Bangkok and Rayong, to our expanding network of business partners in this key territory.
“There is rising demand across the Far East for high-quality process equipment with a proven track record.
“We are confident that our global reputation and the experience of our business partners will serve the company well in these emerging markets, where spending on infrastructure and other related projects is increasing rapidly.”
