Core fulfilment launches with ecommerce fulfilment suite for growing retailers

""

A North West-based ecommerce fulfilment service company has re-branded as Core Fulfilment, in line with its new business ethos and service offering, aimed at helping online retailers as they outgrow existing fulfilment capabilities.

The business, which is based in Sandbach, Cheshire, has been repositioned as a partner for growth, enabling ecommerce businesses of all sizes to fulfil their product picking, packing and distribution requirements, with a focus around excellent customer service. As part of the launch, the company is offering a free trial to new customers so they can try out the service and see the benefits it can bring to their business.

The outsourced solutions for e-retailers include: receiving deliveries, warehousing stock, receiving orders from the website, order picking, posting deliveries and managing customer returns. The company can also provide a re-ordering and re-stocking service, in addition to a customer service centre.

Core Fulfilment’s full re-brand incorporates a new logo, website and business branding, a new company vision and mission statement as well as strong growth plans for the next five years.

Previously known as Internet Logistics, the business started life as a traditional warehousing and distribution company 14 years ago. With the tremendous growth in ecommerce over the past 10 years, it branched out to include a ‘pick and pack’ fulfilment service for e-retailers, which has now become the main focus for the business.

The name – Core Fulfilment - reflects the new business direction and ethos, which is to provide a truly outstanding logistics service to help ecommerce retailers grow their businesses effectively and efficiently.

Paul Burns and Jeremy Vernon have both been put in place as joint managing directors to lead the business through its next phase of development.

Paul, who has been working for the company for nine years, said: “We are looking forward to the next phase of growth and working closely with our new and existing clients. Our customers are our clients’ customers and we aim to delight them with the online delivery experience.”

Jeremy Vernon, who has worked for the business for six years, said: “We believe customers are made loyal by their experiences. If a retailer creates a better online experience for their customers, they create a bigger business.

“Fulfilment is a promise and it’s our job to ensure it is delivered on time and to provide the best experience that we can.”

Core Fulfilment works with a range of retailers - from multi-national businesses right through to individual ecommerce retailers who run their businesses from home. The range of services has been designed to be scalable and flexible to appeal to any type of business and ensure they fit in with existing working methods.

Previous and current customers include Disney UK and Europe, Wickes, Optimum Nutrition, Guinness, xercise4less and DW Sports Fitness.
