Cokebusters Ltd., an international company specialising in the mechanical decoking, descaling and associated in-line inspection of fired heater process tubes based in the North West, is preparing for one of their most exciting and informative stands yet at this year’s Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), from the 11-14 November 2019.
Cokebusters will be showcasing their Merlin intelligent in-line inspection tool, which has the unique ability to accurately detect and quantify any remaining internal fouling after decoking procedures have been completed. The Merlin tool is driven by water through the internal passageway of a pass or coil, using ultrasound technology to internally scan fired heater tubes. The tool provides a complete assessment of tube condition and integrity, identifying and quantifying a range of defects and metallurgic flaws.
This year, Cokebusters will also be offering visitors to their stand the chance to win a very exclusive prize – a Chelsea football shirt, signed by the 18/19 squad. All visitors will need to do is fill in their contact details on a form at the stand and the winner will be drawn at random on the final day of the exhibition.
