INSTAsmile makes Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 list

"We are honoured to have made it onto the highly coveted Sunday Times Fast Track 100 its testament to how far we have come as a business."

A Newton-Le-Willows based business that specialises in the production and global retail of non-surgical clip-on veneers has been ranked number 16 on the Sunday Times’ annual list of Britain’s fastest growing private businesses.

The league table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest growing sales over three years and INSTAsmile is the Manchester region’s second fastest growing business on the 2018 list*.

INSTAsmile is a revolutionary, non-intrusive, cost-effective range of clip-on veneers, ideal for covering missing, chipped, crooked or discoloured teeth, or as a modern and more comfortable alternative to partial dentures. The business was founded in 2012 and this month relocated from Leigh to new, larger premises on Lodge Lane in Newton-Le-Willows.

The business has achieved a staggering 109.45% compounded annual sales growth over the last three years and currently turns over more than £7m, employing 50 staff. Its sales forecast for 2019 (y/e September) is a massive £14m, double its 2018 sales.

Products are made at its Newton-Le-Willows head quarters, with 65% of the company’s sales coming from the US and 45% of sales from UK customers.

Simon Nixon, CEO and founder of INSTAsmile, puts the phenomenal growth down to being first to market with the introduction of groundbreaking new products that challenge the traditional cosmetic dentistry market.

He says: “We have been bold in our approach to what is very much a new and relatively unknown category. We have developed innovative (patent pending) clip technology and digital manufacturing processes, and invested heavily in ongoing research and development into new products.

“With products retailing from as little as £125, and flexible finance options, INSTAsmile’s range is more financially accessible to audiences looking to improve their smile and boost their confidence versus expensive traditional veneers.”

Speaking about the company’s achievement, Simon added:

“We are honoured to have made it onto the highly coveted Sunday Times Fast Track 100; it’s testament to how far we have come as a business and recognition for the hard work of everyone who works in the business. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank our customers who have made this possible.

“It is our goal to be a disrupter and to lead this exciting new market. We recognised the huge demand for our products and have developed advanced technology to create a cost effective alternative to cosmetic dentistry.

“Supporting our manufacturing capabilities is a customer-centric business model. We aim to enhance the lives of our customers through an affordable and convenient product offering, ensuring customer satisfaction is at the heart of what we do.

“This is just the start for the INSTAsmile brand. With the continuation in the upward trend for clip-on veneers and complementary products we look forward to another buoyant year in 2019.”
