House builder Lovell urges children to play in playgrounds not on building sites

As the May bank holiday approaches, Lovell is keen to stress the dangers and potential hazards of a construction site to children in Rock Ferry.

House builder Lovell urges children to play in playgrounds not on building sites

"We're aware that to children, a construction site might look like a place to have an adventure but we felt it was important to remind everyone of the dangers present on any building site."
Lovell Homes Construction Director

While a construction site might look like an adventure and somewhere fun to explore, Lovell warns it’s not a place for children.

Quote from Lovell: “We’re aware that to children, a construction site might look like a place to have an adventure and as the school holidays move closer, we felt it was important to remind everyone of the dangers present on any building site and that it’s vital to stay away from them and play in suitable locations such as the park.”

There are numerous safety signs highlighted around the site but these aren’t always heeded by the public.

“We are extremely vigilant when it comes to health and safety and hope that the signs are taken seriously. We’d encourage parents to point these signs out to children to ensure they understand the potential hazards on a site.”

Lovell is currently building a modern and stylish development of 100 two and three bedroom homes at Minshull Way in Rock Ferry, creating a thriving community in this newly-developed neighbourhood.
