Miller Homes, one of the UK’s leading housebuilders, has announced the launch of the Discount to Market Scheme on their Beacon Park development in Lancashire, in partnership with the Wyre Borough Council. The scheme aims to allow more first-time buyers to leave the rental market and take their first steps onto the property ladder.

Available on selected plots at the development, the scheme is designed to help local residents who otherwise are not able to afford to buy a home in the local area. Potential applicants must demonstrate to the council that they are otherwise unable to afford to purchase a home in the local vicinity, and that they have been a resident in the Wyre Borough for the past year or have a strong local connection to the area.

The plots where Discount to Market are available at Beacon Park will be offered to house hunters at 80% of the market value. The homes selected for this exclusive scheme have been chosen to match the needs of first-time buyers. Four one-bedroom apartments and two three-bedroom semi-detached houses will be available for local Lancashire renters to purchase at the discount rate under the new scheme.
