Miller Homes North West Launches Annual Easter Egg Drive

Miller Homes North West Launches Annual Easter Egg Drive

"Supporting the local community is so important to us. Were delighted to support vulnerable young people in the North West by ensuring they have a treat to wake up to on Easter. "
Clare Noakes

Miller Homes, local house builder who have developments across Lancashire and Cheshire have officially launched their annual Easter Egg drive to support underprivileged children in the region with Variety children’s charity.

Now in its third year, the successful charity campaign welcomes the people of Lancashire and Cheshire to join them and drop off any spare Easter Eggs to developments local to them, these will then be delivered alongside the company’s own donations.

The campaign looks to make charitable donations at this time of year as simple as possible, with an easy to access drop off location at the development sales centres which are open from Thursday to Monday, 10:30am to 5:30pm, with Miller Homes collecting and delivering all festive chocolate treats to Variety before the Easter celebrations.

The award-winning housebuilder has advised that any donations can be made before 14th April, in order to allow time for delivery and distribution before the Easter weekend.

The drive has seen Miller Homes and the local community donate over 150 Easter Eggs, supporting vulnerable children across the region who, for a number of reasons, would otherwise not have any treats to look forward to on Easter morning.

Lyn Staunton, North West Development Director for Variety, comments: “We are so incredibly grateful for Miller Homes and their local supporters continued assistance over the Easter period. The festivities can be incredibly difficult for children in disadvantaged situations, and something which may seem small like an Easter Egg can bring so much joy to their holidays.

Clare Noakes, the newly appointed Sales Director for Miller Homes in the North West, adds: “Supporting the local community is so important to us. We’re delighted to support vulnerable young people in the North West by ensuring they have a treat to wake up to on Easter, and we hope that the local community will continue to help our cause with their own donations, no matter what size!”
