PR and marketing social enterprise appointed by Warrington Housing Association

"Yellow Jigsaw share our social values and vision. At Warrington Housing Association, it's more than about homes, it is about the people that live in them and we want the community to know that."
David Cummins, Chief Executive of WHA

PR and marketing social enterprise Yellow Jigsaw has been appointed by Warrington Housing Association to build engagement with customers, staff and the wider community.

Yellow Jigsaw will be responsible for implementing an internal and external communications plan, developing multimedia content, PR opportunities and media training for staff while working alongside ATTAIN Digital to re-brand the organisation.

Grace Dyke, director of Yellow Jigsaw, said: “Our client base is predominantly made up of charities and social enterprise – which is a conscious choice – as like us they have a social purpose.

“That’s why we are pleased to be have been appointed by not-for-profit organisation, Warrington Housing Association, as their preferred agency to work with. They put people at the heart of everything they do - from customers and staff to the wider community - and we want to illustrate this by sharing real stories to show people in Warrington and potential partners how they are continually working on making the borough a great place to live.”

Alongside Warrington Housing Association providing affordable housing in the borough, they have services to promote social inclusion and combat social isolation for customers and the wider community, give advice and information, implement repairs and improvements to homes, as well as bringing likeminded organisations together to work for the community.

David Cummins, chief executive of Warrington Housing Association, who was appointed in April 2017, said: “We are delighted with our choice of PR and marketing organisation, Yellow Jigsaw, who share our social values and vision. At Warrington Housing Association, it’s more than about homes, it is about the people that live in them – and we want the wider community to know that.”

Greater Manchester based Yellow Jigsaw was established in 2014, by directors Grace Dyke and Kirsty Day. Both have worked for national charities, Grace leading business and project management roles, and Kirsty – who worked at MEN Media for 12 years as a journalist - leading PR and campaigns.

Other clients include Age UK Wigan, Manchester Credit Union, Urmston Grammar School and The Brick homeless charity and Beechwood Cancer Care.
