Liverpool Businesses Encouraged To Connect With Garston Networking Group

"Not only will the event provide ample opportunity for networking, it will allow the business community and its varied members to discuss key issues within the area"
Dr Clare Robinson

A Garston business owner has launched a networking group for local businesses within the area.

Dr Clare Robinson, who heads one of the postcode’s longest standing establishments Garston Dental Practice alongside St Mary’s Road’s ‘new kid on the block’ The Dental Cafe, has created the group in a bid to bring together business owners within the area.

Alongside offering ample networking opportunities to key stakeholders within the community, the monthly event will encourage local business people to form positive connections with one another for the benefit of the area.

Clare said: “I have been established as a business owner in Garston for a number of years and I recognise the area as a truly thriving business hub within an incredibly creative community. By heading up a duo of businesses here – one that has been open for over 60 years and one that is less than six months old – I’ve learned so much about a lot of the local business owners who each have an important story to tell, and it’s my aim to create a space whereby they can connect with one another on a regular basis.

“Not only will the event provide ample opportunity for networking, it will allow the business community and its varied members to discuss key issues within the area and inspire and support one another in their individual ventures. I hope that this will offer attendees the chance to find out more about one another’s roles within the community and create opportunities for collaboration.”

The Dental Cafe opened its doors in June and follows in the footsteps of its sister site, Garston Dental Practice, which has been established within Garston since 1960. The pop-in express service is the first of its kind within the city, and offers customers increased accessibility with the added bonus of no waiting list.

Clare added: “We’re encouraging any local businesses within the area who want to find out more to get in touch with us directly, and we’re looking forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces to our very first Garston Business Networking event.”

The first ‘Garston Business Networking’ is set to take place on Wednesday, November 7 at 10am. The event will take place at The Dental Cafe, 55 St Mary’s Road, Garston, Liverpool, L19 2NJ.
