Award-winning PR, digital and design agency, de Winter, has followed up the launch of its Liverpool office with the appointment of a senior manager to lead its new operation.
Former journalist and experienced PR professional, Nikki Girvan, 32, joins de Winter from digital agency, Ph.Creative, to lead the growth of the Liverpool office and drive the expansion of sister brand, The Retail Room, a retail-specific UK PR, marketing and consumer engagement agency, aimed at shopping centres.
With six years’ PR and digital agency experience, Nikki has created and delivered strategic, creative and integrated campaigns for a wide range of well-known consumer brands, including AGA Cookshop, Wilko, Dulux Decorator Centre, Breville, the Atkins Diet and Stagecoach Manchester.
As well as her role developing the Liverpool office, Nikki will also be working with the team to deliver even greater creativity and innovation to new and existing clients.
On her appointment, Nikki said: “Liverpool is going through a significant period of growth at present, with an abundance of opportunities – there’s never been a more exciting time to be doing business in the city.
“Joining de Winter, as it celebrates 25 years in the industry, is an incredible opportunity for me personally. The team is an energetic and experienced one and I’m looking forward to working together to grow the group’s client base both in Liverpool and across the country.”
de Winter MD, Kate Cox, said: “Nikki’s experience in creating multi-channel communications campaigns for consumer clients, combined with her journalism experience and media contacts will be key to the growth of our Liverpool office and The Retail Room brand.
“Her appointment will enable us to further raise the bar on the services, creativity and innovation we are able to offer to new and existing clients.”
