Hundreds of businesses are set to get together at Blackpool Business Expo – to boost the local economy.
The free expo, which is in its third year, offers the opportunity for businesses to meet face-to-face and attend free seminars with speakers who will be sharing their secrets of business growth.
The seminar topics include online lead generation, employee attachment, business development and general data protection regulation (GDPR) training.
The event will be held at Village Urban Resort Blackpool, East Park Drive, FY3 8LL, on Wednesday, September 27, from 9.30am and 3pm.
Founder of Blackpool Business Expo, Nichola Howard from Launch Events NW, said: “I am passionate about supporting the local economy by bringing businesses together from across the Fylde coast. We will have more than 50 exhibitors that will be on hand to meet other businesses and potential customers.”
Nichola, will also be hosting a 'Deal Makers Breakfast', with Simon Iredale from Motionlab, before the expo is open to the public, where there will be an exclusive opportunity to network with all the experts and debate panelists over breakfast.
Tom Metcalf, founder of Little Touches, a travel consultancy business, first attended the expo last year and has since partnered with another business – cleaning company Rag Tag Team, to provide a cleaning service to hotels in Blackpool.
Tom said: “Nichola acted as cupid, matchmaking my business with Rag Tag Team as she knew I was keen to expand my support services for hotels in Blackpool.
“She deliberately placed my stand next to them and since that seed was sown 12 months ago, I’m proud to say that our on-demand cleaning service for hotels continues to grow exponentially, which is in large part due to the pre-event preparation and thoughtfulness of Nichola.”
