The 2018 L'Etape Du Tour will be staged on the 8th July 2018 starting from the beautiful French alpine town of Annecy covering a distance of 150 kilometres, and finishing in Le Grand Bornand taking in over 4000 meters of mountain climbs including the Col de Romme and the Col de la Colombiere. Both were made famous in 2009 at Stage 17 of Le Tour which saw Alberto Contador ignore team orders and leave Lance Armstrong behind.
