Hosted by National Museums Liverpool is set to welcome guests in their thousands this festive season for a series of unforgettable party nights in some of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings.
Over 3,500 people have already booked a place at the highly anticipated all-inclusive Christmas parties, concluding a successful 12 months for the organisation’s recently rebranded events division.
This year’s all-inclusive Christmas parties will take place in a number of venues including the breath-taking Merseyside Maritime Museum and the historic World Museum following the introduction of a brand-new events space for 300 guests on the 2nd floor, which will be suitably dressed for the occasion as a beautiful winter wonderland.
"To accommodate this increase in bookings, we are utilising a fantastic new space at World Museum which the team are transforming into a winter wonderland for our guests."

Head of Events at Hosted by National Museums Liverpool Katie Roberts said: “The countdown for Christmas is officially on and this year we’re on course to feed thousands, with our in-house team of chefs set to serve over 25,000 sprouts! To meet this year’s exceptional demand, we’ve had to increase our orders on drinks too - we estimate that around 8,000 glasses of wine will be poured as part of the celebrations alongside almost 5,000 bottles of beer!
“Every year this is an incredibly busy period for us but as a result of the rebranding of our events department this summer, we’ve seen Christmas bookings grow by almost 10% on the previous year which shows that our new aesthetic and increased visibility is already starting to attract new clients. To accommodate this increase in bookings, we are utilising a fantastic new space at World Museum which the team are transforming into a winter wonderland for our guests.”
Guests at the World Museum and Merseyside Maritime Museum Christmas parties can expect to be greeted with a sparkling drinks reception before indulging in a festive two-course carvery menu, accompanied by all-inclusive drinks. To follow, party-goers can enjoy music and dancing until late.
Katie added: “Although we are still busy taking bookings for our all-inclusive Christmas parties we still have some availability for those looking to celebrate the season in style. Whether you want to join one of our all-inclusive parties or even make a booking for a private celebration, there’s no better way to spend the festive period than with an unforgettable night at the museum – whichever setting you choose.”
