Easter egg-stravaganza on Liverpool City Region buses

Better By Bus is holding an Easter egg hunt with a difference

Easter egg-stravaganza on Liverpool City Region buses

"Theres nothing we love more than making sure that every single passenger who gets on the bus has a fantastic experience, and this very special Easter egg hunt is just one of ways we do that."
Lisa Pearson

The day before Good Friday (Thursday 18th April), Better By Bus will be holding a special Easter Egg hunt across Liverpool City Region, with huge cash prizes and free monthly bus passes up for grabs – just in time for the Easter break.

Throughout the day, Easter eggs will be randomly placed on Arriva and Stagecoach buses, some with a cash prize inside and some with passes. Those who are lucky enough to find an egg can then snap a picture and send to Better By Bus, who will tell them how to claim their winnings.

This special giveaway is part of the latest Better By Bus campaign, All You Need Is Bus. The campaign is promoting the various benefits of bus travel, including new and improved buses, free Wi-Fi and USB chargers, as well as the positive impact that bus travel has on the environment.

Lisa Pearson, campaign conductor at Better By Bus, said:

“There’s nothing we love more than making sure that every single passenger who gets on the bus has a fantastic experience, and this very special Easter egg hunt is just one of ways we do that.

“If you normally travel by car when going to work, school, shopping trips and everything in between, jump on the bus this Thursday and you could find yourself getting to your destination hundreds of pounds better off.

“With the kids being off school and plenty of exciting activities planned across the city region, Easter is also the perfect time to try a different way of travelling and jump on the bus. You can post your Easter selfie using free Wi-Fi, keep your devices charged with USB chargers and sit back and relax on comfy leather-style seats.”

Better By Bus is led by Liverpool City Region’s Bus Alliance, which is made up of Merseytravel, Stagecoach and Arriva. The alliance formed in 2016 and aims to get more people on board by promoting the numerous benefits of catching the bus.
