Patrick FitzGerald, a Solicitor specialising in work-related illnesses such as musculoskeletal disorders, COSHH and noise-induced hearing loss, became a Senior Manager at the firm on 1 May.

Patrick joined Roberts Jackson as a Fee Earner in 2015 having previously been an Associate Solicitor at a firm in Dublin, Ireland. Since joining, Patrick has progressed rapidly within the Firm and has seen his role within the business grow and develop.

Patrick’s new role will involve overseeing one of two Fee Earning divisions at the Firm together with continued involvement in large projects relating to operational efficiency and the on-going development of the Firm’s case management processes.

Speaking about his new position, Patrick commented:

“I’m looking forward to starting the new role and improving the service we offer our Clients. Like any new role, it’s a massive challenge but since joining Roberts Jackson, I have been involved in management at practically every level and so am ready to hit the ground running.”

Explaining the Firm’s ethos of giving everyone a chance, Patrick added:

“There are always plenty of opportunities to progress here at Roberts Jackson.  Everyone in the firm is encouraged to contribute and will receive recognition for their efforts.  Constant learning, personal and professional development is central to the Firm’s ethos and this is supported by a strong culture of help and support amongst staff, not to mention that the work itself is really engaging - that kind of environment is pretty hard to come by.”

Living locally with his wife and 9 month old son, Patrick enjoys the Firm’s Wilmslow location which allows easy access to Manchester city centre and protected green belt in minutes.
