North West law firm Broudie Jackson Canter, part of the Jackson Lees Group, has launched a new housing division in the heart of Manchester city centre.
Based from the firm’s Manchester Piccadilly office, the practice is a stone’s throw from Manchester Crown Court. As a registered legal aid solicitors, the team will provide specialist legal services to both private clients and those who qualify for legal aid.
The practice will provide legal assistance across a range of issues including homelessness, housing disrepair, tenancy deposits, possession proceedings and eviction – providing those in need with access to justice in central Manchester.
The team will be headed by Jackson Lees Group’s Head of Housing & Social Welfare, Nina Patel, who has over 18 years’ experience specialising in complex housing cases, particularly those arising from mental health or capacity issues.
Nina is also a Trustee for Local Solutions, a charity that supports disadvantaged individuals, families and communities with a primary focus on those experiencing exclusion and vulnerability.
