Warrington law firm posts fourth successive double-digit growth

"We are a well-run practice and our approach to sustainable growth is to simply offer a better service and product than anyone else."
Danny Hudson

A Warrington law firm has achieved double-digit growth for the fourth consecutive year.

The firm of solicitors, which was established more than 60 years ago, has experienced growth across all its main areas of practice including employment law, family law, conveyancing, and wills and probate.

Partner and member of the family department Danny Hudson said: “At a time when some well-established firms are disappearing from the high street in the north west, it’s fantastic to be thriving and continuing to be a trusted brand for people and businesses in Warrington, Cheshire and the wider region.

“We are a multi-disciplinary firm and our ability to support clients across a range of problems they face is second-to-none. Each one of our main areas of law has had success in the last 12 months, for example, we took on a record number of employment cases.

“The results really are a credit to the members of staff that work for Watsons Solicitors, from partner level to the office junior. You only succeed if you are all pulling in the right direction together.

“We have an incredibly low staff turnover and we have done a brilliant job of attracting and retaining the right people to get the job done. Our office manager has been with us for 45 years, four of our secretaries have a combined experience of more than 100 years at Watsons Solicitors, and our managing partner Chris Hanratty has been with the firm since 1982.

“We are a well-run practice and our approach to sustainable growth is to simply offer a better service and product than anyone else.”

Watsons Solicitors, which employs 30 people, has increased its fee income and profitability by between 10 and 12 per cent in each of the last four years.

Danny added: “We keep our overheads as low as possible, for example we own the building that we are in. In addition, we invest where necessary to ensure our service to our clients does not slow, such as replacing our IT infrastructure every three years.”

Watsons Solicitors specialises in family law, employment law, wills and probate, and conveyancing.

Its experienced solicitors each hold accreditations and memberships of professional bodies relevant to their expertise, while the firm’s partners oversee all areas of work.
