Blackpool pub reopens with a fresh new look

As part of the investment, the Washington Greene King, on Topping Street, has undergone a total refurbishment, including the introduction of a lighter colour scheme which incorporates tiled walls, signature pieces of furniture and fresh, contemporary flooring.

The bar has also been completely refurbished, with the introduction of a wider selection of local and national ales, plus world beers. Guests can also enjoy an updated beer garden, which includes new lighting and extensive seating.

Stuart Culley, General Manager at the Washington, said: “The Washington is at the heart of the Blackpool community, so we are excited to be able to offer a place where locals can enjoy a drink or meal in enhanced surroundings.

“The opening was a real success, with great feedback from guests on the delicious menu and fantastic interior. We look forward to welcoming more guests in the coming weeks!”

Guests can enjoy two meals for £9.99 all day every day including favourites such as steak and ale pie, lasagne and hunter’s chicken. A delicious all-day roast is also available on Sundays, served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, mash potato, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. The Washington also offers a wide selection of drink deals, such as two bottles of beer for £5 and refreshing cocktails from £4.99.
