Deck the Bus with Meat and Lust

"Manchester loved the pink bus in July and it would seem the item on the top of the citys Christmas list was another Meat Lust Sauce and the City tour."
Scott Dixon, Director of The Flava People

The Mancunians have spoken and their demands are clear - all they want for Christmas is sauce. So, for two days only, Meat Lust is bringing its bright pink double decker bus back for Sauce and the City: Christmas Special.

This seasonal spectacular will see guests ‘whisked through a festive spice garden’ and sample five specially-created concepts, including the Turkey and Stuffing Samosa from Meat Lust’s magical executive chef, Alex Worrall (former head chef at The Refuge, Victor’s Hale and The Reform), as well as a selection of stunning ales from official beer partners, Brooklyn Brewery and ShinDigger to wash the delightful dishes down.

In true ‘Sauce and the City’ style, the Meat Lust team will offer a fairy tale tour of Manchester and drive guests round for Christmas to visit its favourite festive food spots to sample even more exclusive miniature dishes. With official food partners including Crazy Pedro’s Part-Time Pizza Parlour, Northern Soul Grilled Cheese and Bunny Jackson’s, expect pigs in blankets on pizzas, turkey grilled cheese sandwiches and some festive cocktails.

Scott Dixon, Director of The Flava People and third-generation flavour fanatic, said: “Manchester loved the pink bus in July and it would seem the item on the top of the city’s Christmas list was another Meat Lust ‘Sauce and the City’ tour.

“It’s Christmas time, so who are we to ignore the festive call for a Meat Lust tour. We’ll be wishing everyone a happy Christmas with lots of great food and drink and even a limited-edition Meat Lust sauce, “Santa’s Cranberry Ketchup”. Don’t worry if you over-indulge as this time, we’ve got the eighth wonder of the world on board – ‘The Hanging Gardens of Gaviscon’, Christmas games, a raffle, reindeer piñatas and eggnog, as well as a standard issue bad Santa and his hideous sack.”

Further details will be announced so keep your eye out on social media and follow the Hashtag: #CitySauce or engage with Meat Lust here: Twitter: @MeatLust Facebook: /MeatLust or Instagram: @MeatLust

Tickets will cost £39.95 and will be available from www.sauceandthecity.co.uk at 9am on the 29th November.
