The popular venue, on Gateacre Brow, has been significantly refurbished throughout to create a quintessentially British country pub that offers a cosy home-from-home setting, incorporating friendly staff, beautifully decorated interiors, great food and expertly chosen drinks ranges.

“We’ve already had great feedback on the refurbishment, both inside and out, as we’ve also introduced new planting, lighting and furniture that has been incorporated to enhance our exterior spaces. The Bear & Staff is a relaxed destination whatever the occasion.

The new-look Bear & Staff has a great value two-course supper club menu, available for £13.99 and served from 4pm Monday to Thursday. The set menu includes favourites such as Atlantic Cod and Chips, as well as hand-finished Steak & Red Wine Pie, Chicken & Woodland Mushroom Pie and the Chef’s Veggie or Vegan Burger. If you treat yourself to a third course, the delicious pudding choices include Millionaire’s Cheesecake, Eton Mess Sundae and a Vegan Chocolate & Raspberry Torte
