A Liverpool pub has reopened following a significant investment, creating a number of jobs.

Liverpool pub reopens with a fresh new look

The Birkey Greene King pub on Cooks Road reopened on Thursday 10 October, having received a complete makeover to bring a fresh look and feel to the popular venue.

As part of the investment, the Greene King pub has introduced a lighter colour scheme and improved sports viewing, with the addition of SKY and new TVs throughout. A new outdoor space has also been added, featuring additional seating and new outdoor lighting, enabling guests to enjoy a drink outside.

The pub will continue to offer a range of great drink deals, including ‘double up for £1.50’ on an array of spirits, from whisky and rum to vodka and a large selection of gins.

Neil O’Mullane, General Manager at the Birkey, said: “The Birkey is at the heart of the Liverpool community, so we are excited to be able to offer a place for locals to enjoy a drink in enhanced surroundings.

“The opening was a real success, with great feedback from guests on the fantastic new interior. Guests can still enjoy their favourite drinks in even better surroundings – and we look forward to welcoming them in the coming weeks.”

Guests can enjoy a bottle of sparkling wine for £9.99 all day every Friday, as well as two bombs, five shots or three sourz for £5.  A great value two for £5 offer on beers is also available, featuring a range of lagers and IPAs, including Brewdog Punk IPA and Brooklyn Lager. The Birkey also offers an extended cocktails selection, including premium cocktails such as Ginberry Fizz and Passoã Sangria.
