After just 2 years of operating in the North West, R&D Tax Claims (North) Limited have hit the impressive £1million mark in tax relief successfully claimed back for clients.
Based in Warrington on Dallam Lane at The Base, North West Director Pamela Cunliffe has worked for a plethora of clients across of a variety of different industries.
R&D Tax Claims (North) Limited was launched to assist SMEs in the North of the UK to claim back every pound spent on research and development projects. This government backed scheme was designed to provide companies with the opportunity to further develop their products and processes, typically for manufacturing companies, as well as businesses exploring new products and niche markets. However, a common misconception has been that R&D tax relief is only relevant and applicable to large multi-nationals, when in fact there are thousands of SMEs whose research and development projects would qualify, which Pamela and the R&D Tax Claims (North) Limited team have proved since launching.
Over the 2 years R&D Tax Claims (North) Ltd have been in business, Pamela has helped many businesses win tax refunds. Going on to work with one of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs, Julie Bowmer CEO of Baker Bennett Limited, Pamela secured in excess of £60,000 claimed for their innovative reporting system, funding the launch of Baker Bennett’s own brand products encasing their white label range created for some of the UK’s top supermarkets.
With a quickly growing portfolio of reputable clients in the North of the UK, Pamela has been recognised for her success, being selected as a finalist at the Warrington Business Awards in the Business Woman of the Year category.
Reflecting on the successful year just passed, Pamela Cunliffe comments “I am delighted to have hit such a milestone in this short amount of time heading up R&D Tax Claims (North) Limited. Being able to offer the opportunity for more companies in the North to benefit from the R&D reclaim scheme is incredibly rewarding, so here’s to more £millions in the future for the region’s SMEs!”
