The merger took place at the end of July and the Steven Gilcher & Co office in Cheadle Hulme office will remain available for the convenience of clients based in the area.
Steven Glicher & Co was set up in 1991 and grew significantly over the 27 years, and the success that Steven’s clients have had both through their business and personal pursuits have been key to growth and prosperity of the practice.
Commenting about the merger, Steven has said he is looking forward to the new opportunities that lie ahead; “When looking to the future, I believed that a larger organisation would allow us to provide a broader range of services to our clients. We conducted an extensive search within the region looking for an opportunity like this, and Harts have really exceeded our expectations. Harts share the same values that we have held in advising our clients over the years and together we will continue the tradition we have for excellent service in an environment that we and our clients want to be part of”
Melissa Bowers, Director at Harts Accountants added “We are delighted with the expansion of Harts through our merger with Steven Glicher & Co. The merger further strengthens and broadens our team, skillset and most importantly, our ability to give even greater support and services to our clients. Steven’s personal approach is closely aligned with the Harts ethos, with a personal, friendly service that supports both start-ups and larger established businesses alike. Clients have commented that both practices are ‘not a typical accountancy firm’ which is something both Harts and Steven Glicher & Co feel sum up the added value service they both strive to achieve.”
