Kier chooses Liverpool firm for £4 million scheme

Kier chooses Liverpool firm for £4 million scheme

"This is a significant win for Premier Project Services, which is still considered to be a relatively new company. "
Josh Meadows

Premier Project Services, the Liverpool-based mechanical and electrical services provider, is celebrating a high-profile contract win with the leading infrastructure, housing and developments group, Kier.

The company, which was established in 2017, will be managing the mechanical and electrical design and installation of Oldham Council’s £4 million Supported Housing for Adults with a Learning Disability (SHALD) project, the Limecroft Resource and Care Centre.

The development consists of 20 self-contained apartments, specifically designed for adults with learning disabilities, enabling people to have the opportunity to live as independently as possible.

On the project, which commenced late last year, Premier Project Services has worked in partnership with Kier to deliver a number of complex mechanical and electrical elements, including heating and ventilation systems, security systems, domestic services and much more.

Josh Meadows, director at Premier Project Services, said:

“This is a significant win for Premier Project Services, which is still considered to be a relatively new company.

“Working with Kier to deliver the mechanical and electrical elements of this project will bolster our CV and demonstrate the capability of our firm. We pride ourselves on being dynamic and agile, which gives us a competitive edge when compared to larger firms. We have the ability to provide a bespoke service to Kier, which every member of the team will concentrate all of their time and energy into.

“Like Kier, we are committed to ensuring that the projects we work on create a meaningful social impact in the community. This is why we will be working with Kier and Oldham College to employ a plumbing apprentice, who will work on the development. To be able to support local people and to create job opportunities is incredibly important to the executive team at Premier Project Services, and we are hoping that more opportunities will present themselves as the project progresses.”
