Boxed-Up help online businesses brace for Black Friday bonanza

Wigan-based cardboard manufacturing firm, Boxed-Up are staying one step ahead of the game this year, as they prepare for their unique Pre Black Friday campaign, due to launch on 17th November, ahead of the Christmas shopping storm.

Boxed-Up are launching their campaign to encourage online retailers to stock up on corrugated boxes in advance of this year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping bonanzas on the 24th and 27th November.

Kate Hulley, Managing Director at Boxed-Up said: “We wanted to stay ahead of the curve in supplying the hundreds of online businesses that we serve by giving them an opportunity to fully stock up for one of the biggest online shopping events of the year.”

Boxed-up.co.uk will be offering discounts on all purchases to make the process as simple as possible for businesses who are looking to plan ahead for the shopping rush.

As suppliers to the online industry, Boxed-Up stock a range of products including house moving boxes, postal boxes, single wall and double wall corrugated boxes - ideal for transportation, storage and delivery. Their range include parcel boxes and C4/C5 large letter boxes that meet Royal Mail postal requirements.

Kate adds: “Black Friday is now just under a month away so it’s crucial that online retailers stock up on their shipping materials ahead of the rush. We want to ensure our products reach our customers before the shipping process goes into a frenzy!”

Black Friday is a relatively new trend in the UK retail market since Walmart-owned Asda picked up the trend in 2013. The event has since seen consumers queuing through the night and campaign outside bricks and mortar stores for a chance to snap up seasonal discounts and deals.

Last year, many of the main retailers chose to take part in the event on a more online-based focus over a longer period.  It looks as though this choice is due to carry on into this year’s sales - drastically increasing the need for strong and reliable postage-friendly boxes.

For online businesses of all sizes, the Black Friday sales have created an essential trading period. Consumers looking for a bargain will also undoubtedly be expecting their orders to arrive safely and securely.

Boxed-Up manufacturers all of its products here in the UK at their Wigan-based facility. Their boxes are constructed from corrugated cardboard for maximum protection. Their Pre Black Friday event will offer 5% discount on all products purchased on 17th November 2017.
