Tenants from Oracle and Pinnacle Alliance from Towers Business Park in Didsbury have been taking part in fun fitness activities during May and June, with other organisations in the area including Parrs Wood School, Food Sorcery, Oracle, Grosvenor Casinos and Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club.

The games include ten pin bowling, table tennis, dodge ball, soft ball, a back to school quiz and a very muddy assault course.

Each organisation has entered a team and all agreed for The Christie to be the chosen charity, specifically the Teenage and Youth Adult Unit, a specialist cancer centre for children, teens and young adults. Up to now, £4,752 has been raised with a target of £5,000 expected by the end of June.

Matthew Milroy, of Kennedy Wilson Europe says, "We are big believers that teamwork and wellness go hand in hand and that’s why we are so proud to be sponsoring the Didsbury Business Games. We already provide fitness classes, CSR activities with other local charity partners and health based events to all of our tenants and we believe the Didsbury Business Games fit in with that perfectly. May the best team win!"

As a sponsor, Towers Business Park provided branded t-shirts for all participants and was involved with the planning stages for the event.

Keith Small from the Didsbury Games says: “This is a great opportunity to bring the business community together in a fun activity, while raising money for The Christie. It’s great for the area and really brings people of all industries, ages and abilities together.

“At the moment, Parrs Wood School is in the lead with The Waterside in second place but all this could change with the final tournaments this week.

“We’re looking forward to the finale and winners’ presenation and wish all the teams the best of luck in their last leg!”

Towers Business Park is owned and managed by Kennedy Wilson Europe, an LSE listed property company that invests in real estate across the UK, Ireland, Spain and Italy. The offices are let to 24 corporate business occupiers, which includes John Lewis, British Airways, Honeywell, Oracle, Syngenta and Cisco, and has an occupancy of 98%.
