"We're really pleased to have been able to support Manchester Mind in the great work they do helping adults and young people in mental distress."

The funds were raised with a series of events including two golf days, colleague dress down days and a sponsored run, and a team from Together also volunteered at the charity’s annual city centre collection.

Joanna Huddart at Manchester Mind said, “Together have been so supportive, from their outstanding fundraising efforts through to positive engagement with our wellbeing at work sessions. We’d like to thank them all for enabling us to continue helping 5000 young people and adults this year.”

Together has also confirmed its two nominated charities for 2018 - the NSPCC and Francis House Children’s hospice, which were voted for by colleagues.

Fundraising activity for the NSPCC, which protects children who have suffered abuse, will include the Great Manchester Run and a family fun day at the firm’s headquarters. Additional activity in the latter half of the year will support Francis House in its work with families who have children diagnosed with a life threatening or life limiting condition.

Kevin Fisher, HR director at Together said: “We’re really pleased to have been able to support Manchester Mind in the great work they do helping adults and young people in mental distress, and owe a big thank you to all the colleagues who took part in the fundraising, as well as the brokers we work with, who gave so generously at our annual golf days.

“We have a host of activities planned for this year to help both the NSPCC and Francis House so that we can assist even more charities both locally and nationally.”
