Recruitment Firm Poised For Relocation And Job Creation

Recruitment Firm Poised For Relocation And Job Creation

""

Chorley consultancy firm Perfect Recruitment is preparing to expand into larger premises as a result of taking part in Boost Business Lancashire’s Growth Mentoring programme.

The business, which employs seven staff, is also looking to create more jobs when the extra office space becomes available.

Perfect Recruitment has been trading for seven years and has generated significant growth during the last two years. Director Lisa Brady-Munro opted for the Growth Mentoring programme to capitalise on this dynamic expansion.

“I was introduced by Community & Business Partners (CBP) to Karen Sherbourne to help with support through business mentoring,” said Lisa. “I put the business plan together with Karen’s help and she also advised me on various staffing issues.”

Karen also suggested that Lisa would benefit from a mentor with financial expertise to develop her understanding of key data monitoring and she was introduced to David Kevill.

“This was just what I needed as figures are not my strong point. With David’s help I created an accurate forecast, as well as gaining a firm understanding of my ongoing profit and loss position,” said Lisa.

“This was a massive boost because it enabled me to understand my company’s future and how to drive the business forward with numbers. The help I received was fantastic and allowed me to gain a clear and objective picture of my business, along with my ideas to expand it.”

Perfect Recruitment has also benefitted from Empowering Your Team training that will enable members of Lisa’s team to be more effective in supporting the expansion strategy.

Jane Houghton-Fenning, business development director at Community & Business Partners commented: “Lisa was very receptive to having support from an experienced business person and followed through on all actions to take her business forward.

“We look forward to hearing that her growth is continuing and that she will soon love the numbers as she achieves even larger ones.”

Boost Business Lancashire is the £7.2m Lancashire Business Growth Hub, offering free and part-funded business support to ambitious and growing businesses.
