Cheshire PR and marketing agency crowned the north's New Agency of the Year

The Warrington-based PR, social media and content marketing firm – crowned the town’s leading small business at the Warrington Business Awards in 2016 – scooped the award at the PRmoment North Awards.

With more than 800 entries, the red carpet awards are one of the PR and communications industry’s most coveted and, although less than two years old, No Brainer was shortlisted in two prestigious categories.

And the four-strong No Brainer team walked off as one of the night’s headline winners after picking up their award from host and BBC presenter Andy Crane and the director general of the Public Relations and Communications Association Francis Ingham.

“Representing the Warrington creative sector at the PRmoment Awards was an honour and to be crowned winner of “New Agency of the Year” was the icing on the cake” said director and co-founder, Gary Jenkins.

“Our aim is to become Cheshire’s number one PR and communications agency and the first name that big businesses and SMEs in the region think of when it comes to sharing their stories. So winning an award like this is a huge boost towards where we want to be.

“The public relations sector in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland is full of fantastic new businesses doing some really exciting things so we’re incredibly honoured to win this award” added co-founder, Lee Cullen.

Founded by Gary Jenkins and Lee Cullen, No Brainer now works with a growing roster of more than 15 clients including national brands such as HomeServe, Sale Sharks and MBNA as well as Cheshire-based firms such as CH1ChesterBID, the Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub and Big Heritage.

In addition to winning ‘New Business of the Year’ at the Warrington Business Awards in 2016, the firm also made the final shortlist at last year’s Chartered Institute of Public Relations North West Pride Awards in the ‘Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy’ category, and at the British Small Business Awards for the ‘Best Micro Business’ award.
