New Exhibition For Manchester Grammar School Teacher

""

A teacher from Heaton Chapel is showcasing his talents outside of the classroom with his works on display at The Albert Square Chop House in Manchester.

Jonathan Hargreaves, who is an art teacher at The Manchester Grammar School (MGS), has been exhibiting at the venue from 6 November. His painting compliments the work of Lynton Helmsley whose work is also on show.

Speaking about the exhibition Jonathan said: “The Albert Square is an elegantly renovated, listed Victorian building and a very welcoming environment and I am thrilled to have so many paintings gathered together in such a central location. This is introducing our work to a very wide audience.”

Roger Ward, owner of The Albert Square Chop House, said: "Jonathan is one of the region's great artists and I've been very keen for him to do an exhibition here and continue our mission to promote wonderful artists in the Chop Houses.”

“I fully believe it’s our place to pioneer the huge variety of artistic culture within the city. Hosting the exhibition helps us to celebrate the best art and music talent in the city and I'm delighted that the focus will be on Jonathan and Lynton in November."
