Roberts Jackson rewards dedicated staff with promotions


Industrial Disease specialist law firm Roberts Jackson, has promoted two of its up-and-coming practitioners, Koyes Ahmed and Mardin Ali.

Mardin Ali has been promoted to Associate Solicitor and will specialise in industrial disease claims, in particular noise induced hearing loss, occupational dermatitis and asthma claims.  She started working for Roberts Jackson five years ago in November 2011 in the marketing department, working her way up to fee earner. Shortly after, Mardin became a trainee solicitor gaining a training contract due to her determination and her success in settling a vast amount of cases at the firm. Mardin is now a manager and solicitor handling a varied case load whilst working on the day to day management of the firm.

Commenting on her new role, Mardin said:

I’m really excited about taking on new responsibilities and am looking forward to making a change in many clients’ lives.  The people, as well as the training and support at Roberts Jackson, make it a wonderful place to work.”

In his new role as Associate, Koyes will be specialising in industrial disease claims, in particular noise induced hearing loss, occupational dermatitis and asthma claims.   He also plays a significant part in the proper execution and implementation of various management projects aimed at the improvement of the firm’s efficiency, productivity and speed of the processes.  Koyes also runs a team of fee earners ranging from litigation executives to qualified solicitors.

After joining the firm in 2012, Koyes was soon promoted to become a fee earner, followed by a promotion to deputy team leader and then team leader of the pre-litigation department, during which time he was awarded a training contract.  He was eventually promoted to a head litigator and then to senior head litigator. In the meantime, he was admitted as a Solicitor on 1st December 2015.

Commenting on his rapid career progression at Roberts Jackson, Koyes said:
