Local business opens new yoga studio on International Yoga Day

To mark International Yoga Day (21st June 2017) local health and fitness studio, Optimised Personal Wellness has opened its doors to a brand new yoga and Pilates studio in Manchester city centre.

 Optimised Personal Wellness which opened in 2013 currently offers personal training, life coaching, psychotherapy, functional medicine, Nutritional Therapy, private laboratory testing services. The new studio hopes to reach more business professionals with introductory Hatha and Iyengar yoga classes, as well as Pilates classes that have been specifically designed for desk-bound professionals short on time.

 Owner of Optimised Personal Wellness, Matt Brereton-Patel commented: “Research has proven that yoga and Pilates can help improve core strength and flexibility, whilst also addressing existing injuries and reducing stress levels. Working in a busy office environment often leaves many hard-working professionals without the time to increase their quality of life.

“We wanted to offer a solution to this problem, to help desk-bound professionals feel the benefits of regular movement and stretching in their lives to complement our existing services and further enhance the lives of busy working professionals.”

 The latest addition to Optimised's integrated approach to health, wellness and fitness supports and ideally complements all of their existing services, that take a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

The new studio holds up to seven people in an intimate and personalised setting, where instructors are able to offer maximum attention to attendees due to the small class sizes. Optimised Personal Wellness will also be offering private and small group class options that can be tailored to fit in during lunch breaks, as well as before or after work.

 In addition the studio will be used to offer informative classes and health workshops by experienced instructors, therapists and health professionals. The classes will cover areas such as Biochemistry of Success, Stress Management and Sleep Success to help improve the quality of life of many busy professionals.

 The first health workshop, ‘Stressed to Supercharged’, will take place on Tuesday 27th June, 6-8pm with Functional Medicine Doctor, Dr. Indra and Health Coach Suzy Glaskie.
