Managing director Kay Finlay from the New Ferry based firm has teamed up with daughter Ellie Ruddy, who also heads up local bakery The Mixing Bowl, as part of a dynamic mother and daughter collaboration, which aims to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The duo is inviting firms from around the area to enjoy a morning filled with treats ‘that would gain the seal of approval wink from Mary Berry’.

Kay said: “Now that The Great British Bake Off has taken over the nation once again, the team and I can’t seem to get enough of cake and sweet treats at the moment! With that in mind, we are excited to host Bebington Glazing’s first ever Macmillan Coffee Morning, as part of a joint effort with my daughter who runs her very own successful baking business.

“In a bid to raise funds for the charity that goes above and beyond for cancer patients and their families, Macmillan Cancer Support has become something close to many people’s hearts. To help to do our bit to further the great work that Macmillan does, we hope to encourage neighbouring businesses to pop in for cake and a cuppa, all the while gaining a real feel good factor for supporting the cause.”

Bebington Glazing has become renowned across the North West for specialising in bespoke glass installation and repairs on both residential and commercial properties. In addition to glazing services, the independent firm also fits safety glass, lead lights, glass balconies and balustrades.

Ellie added: “It’s fantastic to have teamed up with my mum to mark this heart-warming occasion. As Bebington Glazing has built up the recognition and support of fellow local independents, the Macmillan Coffee Morning is also a great opportunity for business owners to take some time out of their busy schedules to come down and connect all for such a worthy cause that has become so close to home for many.”

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning will take place at Bebington Glazing on Friday, September 30 between 9:30am-12pm. Full details can be found on https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/mcmillan-coffee-morning-tickets-27521754308?aff=efbevent
